FITC labeled lysozyme (Lysozyme-FITC) is one of Nanocs premier fluorescent lysozyme conjugates. Lysozymes are a family of catlytic enzymes which damage bacterial cell walls by catalyzing hydrolysis of 1,4-beta-linkages between N-acetylmuramic acid and N-acetyl-D-glucosamine residues. Lysozyme is also known as muramidase or N-acetylmuramide glycanhydrolase. Nanocs provides a variety of chemically functionalized and bioconjugated lysozymes with different functionality. These functional lysozyme products can be used for enzyme studies, bioassay development and many other biomedical research. Nanocs Fluorescein labeled lysozyme (FITC Lysozyme) is a green fluorescent lysozyme conjugate that has excitation/emission wavelength at 490/520 nm. This fluorescein lysozyme can be easily detected by fluorescent instruments in FITC channel. All our lysozyme conjugates were purified by size chromatography to remove non-conjugated molecules and ensure adequate applications both in-vitro and in-vivo.
