马来酰亚胺聚乙二醇炔（MAL-PEG-Alkyne）炔烃PEG马来酰亚胺是MeloPEG的反应型Click化学PEG交联剂之一，每个PEG末端均具有马来酰亚胺和炔基。炔烃与叠氮化物之间的点击化学反应非常有效。该反应在铜离子催化的水溶液中进行得很好。炔烃与叠氮化物之间的反应使得马来酰亚胺PEG与相应分子的结合具有高产率。所得的马来酰亚胺基团可以容易地与天然或诱变的半胱氨酸残基中的可用–SH基团反应。该反应在pH 6.5〜7.5时容易进行，形成稳定的，不可裂解的硫醚键。炔烃和马来酰亚胺之间的PEG接头具有更好的水溶性，灵活的接头结构和增强的稳定性。
