Description:
DSPE PEG Aminooxy (DSPE-PEG-ONH2) is one of Nanocs chemical reactive phospholipid PEGs that has a carbonyl reactive aminooxy group. DSPE (1,2-distearoyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphoethanolamine) is a saturated 18C phospholipid that is highly hydrophobic. Aminooxy group reacts readily with aldehyde or keto derived from polysaccharides or glycoproteins. Reaction betweemaminooxy and carbonyl forms a stable oxime linkage which is more stable than schiff base formed between aldehyde and amine group. This reaction allows quick and efficient conjugation of phospholipids to carbohydrates, glycoproteins, glycosylated antibodies and enzymes. PEG linker between DSPE and aminooxy offers better water solubility, flexible linker structure and enhanced stability.

Biotin PEG NHS is one of Nanocs reactive PEG biotin reagents that can be used to label proteins, antibodies, small molecules or surfaces via their available amine groups. NHS reacts quickly with primary amine groups under alkaline pH to yield a stable amide bond. This reaction allows rapid attachement of biotin tag to targeted molecules or material surfaces. Resulted biotin tag can be easily detected with avidin or streptavidin. PEG linker between NHS and Biotin offers better water solubility, flexible linker structure and enhanced stability.

Nanocs’ metal chelate PEG conjugates were made to chelate metal ions for biomedical applications. Pegylated metal chelators have strong afinity with many metal ions and they are water soluble. Conjugates were provided in lyophilized powder form.

Nanocs fluorescent labeled gold nanoparticles were made from monodispersed gold nanoparticles with narrow size distribution (<15%). Fluorescent molecules, from green to near infrared region, including fluorescein (FITC), rhodamine, Cy3, Cy5 or Alexa fluor dyes, were convalently attached to the gold surface. These fluorescently labeled gold nanoparticles are stable in aqueous buffer and is useful for generating various gold nanoparticle probes to detect various biomolecules in SEM, TEM, light microscopy and blotting.
