Description：Derived from the mesoderm, connective tissue is involved in maintaining the structural integrity of the body. The predominant cells found in connective tissue are fibroblasts, which continuously secrete various components of the extracellular matrix. Depending on the site of origin and physiological status, fibroblasts may exhibit different morphological phenotypes and various functional properties.

AcceGen offers a range of Human Fibroblasts produced at AcceGen’s cell culture facility. The cells are isolated from normal human juvenile foreskin or adult skin from different locations. In addition, AcceGen offers Fibroblasts from adult lung tissue, aortic adventitial tissue, and villous placental tissue.

Shortly after isolation, all AcceGen Human Fibroblasts are cryopreserved at passage 2 (P2) using AcceGen’s proprietary, serum-free freezing medium,Cryo-SFM. Each cryo vial contains more than 500,000 viable cells after thawing. Proliferating cell cultures are made from 500,000 cryopreserved cells that have been thawed and cultured for three days at AcceGen.；

Description：The trophoblast begins at the outer covering of the early blastocyst and provides the route of nourishment between the maternal endometrium and the developing embryo. The trophoblast adhesion to the uterine wall is the requisite first step of implantation and, subsequently, placentation. Human villous tryophoblasts (HVT) covering the villi of the placenta provide the surface for the exchange of oxygen and nutrient with the maternal circulation. They express CXCR4, CCR5 and prolactin gene family. They acquire CCR1 as they differentiate to an invasive phenotype at the villous-anchoring sites. The feature of HVT together with the recent establishment of trophoblast stem cells makes them an ideal genetic platform to study cell differentiation and organogenesis.HVT from AcceGen Research Laboratories are isolated from human placental villi. HVT are cryopreserved at passage primary culture and delivered frozen. Each vial contains >1 x 10^6 cells in 1 ml volume. HVT are characterized by immunofluorescent method with antibodies to alpha-and beta-HCG. HVT are negative for HIV-1, HBV, HCV, mycoplasma, bacteria, yeast and fungi. HVT are guaranteed to further culture the condition provided by AcceGen Research Laboratories.；
