Description:

Boc-NH-PEG-COOH (Boc PEG acid) is  one of Nanocs heterobifunctional PEG derivatives that can be used to modify proteins, peptides and other materials via amino or other acid reactive chemical groups. Boc group can be de-protected under acidic conditions to release free amine for further reaction. PEGylation can increase solubility and stability and reduce immunogenicity of peptides and proteins. It can also suppress the non-specific binding of charged molecules to the modified surfaces.
