花菁染料Sulfo-Cy5-E是一种远红外荧光标记染料,该染料具有高度亲水性和水溶性,含有游离的、未活化的单官能团羧酸。而Sulfo-Cy5-E Maleimide是Sulfo-Cy5-E染料的硫醇反应形式。Maleimide与硫醇基团反应形成硫醚偶联产物。反应可以在pH=7的胺中进行。在中性pH环境中,Maleimide基团不与组氨酸或精氨酸反应。
菁染料是性能优良的荧光染料,摩尔吸光系数在荧光染料中是无可比拟的,其琥珀酰亚胺酯是常用的脂肪氨基标记试剂,广泛用于蛋白、抗体、核酸及其他生物分子的标记和检测。通过改变次甲基链的长度,可改变其荧光发射波长,每增加一个双键,按照Huoffman规则正好红移约100 nm。
水溶性菁染料Cy3和Cy5已成为基因芯片的普遍荧光标记物;另外,Cy5,Cy5.5和Cy7的吸收在近红外区背景非常低,是荧光强度较高、稳定性较好的长波长染料。特别适合于活体小动物体内成像代替放射性元素。

注意事项

1. 产物如需长期储存,我们建议添加BSA和NaN3,并使其终浓度分别为5-10 mg/mL和0.01-0.03%,以防变性和微生物污染。

2. 标记好的抗体溶液应4℃避光保存,如果加入终浓度为50%的甘油,则可储存在-20℃,在这些条件下,产物可稳定保存一年或更长时间。
